Conference in Budapest 28. and 29. October arranged by Scoop - a support structure for investigative journalism in Eastern - and Central Europe, Copenhagen, and Center for Independent Journalism, Budapest.

At the conference you will meet 60 investigative reporters from Ukraine, Belorussia, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.

Reporters who have worked with support from Scoop will present their investigations of corruption, smuggling, trafficking and many other issues. Some investigations are done in the microcosmos of small provincial towns, others are trans-national investigations covering several countries. Four investigations done with support from Scoop have won awards.

The conference will start on Friday 28. October at 9.30 o’clock and finish on Saturday 29. at 16.30 o’clock

Conference fee: 450 euro (with hotel and catering). We have only a few places for participants from Western Europe and USA, so please contact us as soon as possible.
